新学期、新機会

The cherry blossoms were out in full bloom a couple of weeks ago. We went out to the nearby park a couple times while they were blooming and just sat around drinking and chilling. Great way to wind up the winter/spring holidays before the second semester of school started.

Other than that not too much going on these days. School started up last week and classes for the most part are pretty boring. Since the new school year in Japan starts in April though there are a lot of new faces which is kinda of refreshing. We had to take a Japanese proficiency test a couple weeks ago as well to figure out what level of classes we'd get into. I ended up doing pretty well and got into Intermediate 3, the second highest level. Crappy thing is most of the intermediate 3 classes take place when I have my normal classes so I could actually only take 1 intermediate 3 level class. The rest are intermediate 2 which is alright cause I'm still learning a lot.

My brother is coming to visit in 3 weeks and I'm pumped. It's gonna be a hell of a time when he's here. Now here are some pics of cherry blossoms.
